BALOG EDGES REINKE FOR VICTORY NUMBER 11 IN FOGGY 141 SPEEDWAY GO!
REINKE NOTCHES THIRD STRAIGHT TRACK RECORD FAST TIME EFFORT!
August 31, 2014; Francis Creek, WI – A fog hanging in there air, above the raceway reflected off the track lighting gave a surreal effect as backdrop.. one could say it was almost a scene from a nightmare, with eerie shadows cast in the mists. After consulting the drivers on the effects of the fog they opted to continue the show for the fans and they delivered an exciting main event.
Perhaps it was fitting then that Bill Balog, whose moniker “The Northpole Nightmare”, wound up sitting in victory lane after a hard fought battle with Mike Reinke for the win.
For Balog the victory was a matter of speed, skill and “luck”.
PODIUM DÉJÀ VU’ – BALOG OUTRUNS THIEL AND REINKE TO GRAB 10TH BUMPER TO BUMPER IRA CHECKER OF SEASON AT THE SHEBOYGAN COUNTY FAIR EVENT!
LOCAL RACERS PROVIDE FANS WITH STRONG EFFORTS AT PLYMOUTH DIRT TRACK!
August 29, 2014; Plymouth, WI – Two weeks removed from the last Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint series contest which was held at the Seymour Speedway, the Sheboygan County Fair, and the Plymouth Dirt Track hosted the winged 410 sprint series at the banked third-mile clay oval as a highlight to the fair festivities. A large crowd was on hand to witness the event. Nearly 60 sprint cars were in the pit area with both the IRA’s 410 sprints and the local 360 sprints on hand to present the show.
After thirty laps of hard fought action on the tight bullring, Bill Balog stood victorious after fending off the challenges of Scotty Thiel, and Mike Reinke. The top three had met under similar circumstances two weeks ago, as the same trio had finished in the running order after the checker had fallen at Seymour.

West Salem, WI – August 23, 2014; Steve Carlson was able to pull out a feature win on the final night of weekly racing after being involved in a wreck, restarting in the back of the field, then passing only five cars to get the lead. It seems impossible; but the carnage that flooded the start of the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature Saturday night at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway left nothing out of the realm of possibility.

Seymour- August 17, 2014 – I t was a cool, clear night for racing at the Seymour Speedway Sunday night, but the racing action was excellent with a full program that included the return of the 410 Outlaw IRA Sprint Car series to the banked 1/3 mile clay oval.
The only glitch on the night was the late start due to track prep issues but that turned to a plus with a non-stop show on a smooth fast racing surface.
